Lots of Boy Stuff

There has been lots of boy stuff going on around here lately–shocker, I know. We had a nice relaxing Father's Day, one of our four tadpoles turned into a little frog and the boys have been soaking up the summer playing in the pool each afternoon. I've been trying my best to fill the summer with educational and fun activities. I think I might be having more fun than they are!

Marc is such a wonderful Father. Anderson and Grey both adore him. They are always laughing together, rolling on the floor, reading, or playing pretend. I'm am such a lucky woman.

These are our tadpoles. Grey spent a lot of time giving them each a name. Their names are Baby, Suzie, Mr. Foo Foo, and Teddy Bear. Not sure which one made the transition first but when we arrived home from Mother's Morning Out today we had a baby frog! It is so cute. It really is amazing how fast it happens. Yesterday he sprouted arms and today he was on the a rock with no tail. Weird!

Atlanta

We just got back from a wonderful trip to Atlanta. If you have little ones the Lucky Marietta District is the place to be! We started with a trip to the Aquarium, played for hours on the playground in Centennial Park, got soaking wet in the Olympic rings fountain, and ended the trip with a visit to the Imagine It! Children's Museum. Anderson spent a couple of days with Re and PaPaw so we could focus all of our efforts on Grey having a blast! The best part of the entire trip was parking our car at the hotel on Friday morning and not getting back in until heading home this afternoon.

Centennial Park is awesome! The playground and fountain kept Grey occupied for hours.

I think Grey could have played in the Children's Museum for 8 hours. This was his favorite part, the delivery truck.

Giving it my best shot

This afternoon I took a few pictures of the children. I've been hitting up my friend Suzanne for any photography advice she can give me. Boy does she have great advice! www.suzannewilliamsphotography.com I purchased a camera recently in hopes of capturing their little selves as much as possible. Seeing them grow makes me want to freeze every moment. So that is what I plan to do!

What am I doing?

Ok, so I have NO IDEA what I'm doing but I'll give it my best shot! Please be patient with my lack of blogger style. I promise I'll find a cutsy background soon.

After months of posting my children's every move on Facebook, I've decided to start our very own blog. This way if people are truly interested they can check us out here instead of being forced through the news feed on Facebook.

The past weekend was the annual Threatt Family Fish Fry so we headed down to Eufaula for some fun in the sun. It was pretty exhausting to say the least. I can't imagine how tired we will be next year with two running around!

My Granddaddy loves Elvis.

Grey's first ride back in the pasture. He's such a city boy with his beach bums shirt!

This is my favorite picture from the whole day. He was SO dirty. I had to literally scrub him clean when we got home.
